Ignition is a creative space located in one of Vashon's oldest buildings--the 1939, four-bay auto shop and auto parts store--in the center of town.  The Gallery hosts monthly curated exhibitions by artists from Vashon and surrounding areas, while the Studio (Garage) side is home to numerous local artist and craftspeople.  Ignition offers workshops, summer and after-school classes, weekend "drop-in" demonstrations by resident artists, and it is the hub of lively entertainment during First Friday Gallery Cruises.
